Adobe shows Flash 10.1 for Mobile Phones in action

It has been confirmed by Adobe that they will be demonstrating Flash Player 10.1 for smartphones next week at the Mobile World Congress which will be held in Barcelona.

Apparently it will be shown on a Google Nexus One, Palm‘s Pre and Motorola’s Droid. It promises that it will be bringing the full Flash experience to most mobile devices for the first time.

Adobe expect that Flash support on mobiles will grow at some rate, starting from about 9 or 10% of handsets this year increasing to about half within the next two or three years. Flash is currently installed on roughly 98% of all PC’s now and is being used by 85% of top websites.
